With the 2018 World Cup final being held at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, the venue has had to make adjustments. SIS Pitches, a British company installed this month, a pitch
made of SISGrass – a natural turf reinforced pitch featuring synthetic fibers and SISAir technology. SISAir will assist in managing the soil moisture and remove excess water
that might come from Russia’s intense storms via a network of pipes that will blow air under the pitch.
